User(s) can reproduce this bug
If you map a TFS folder into your workspace, get the latest version and then unmap the folder so it is no longer part of the workspace, the TFS source control explorer will still show that folder as mapped (black instread of grey, the "Latest" column will show "Yes" instead of "Not mapped).

The only workaround is to create an entire new workspace.
Details (expand)

Visual Studio/Team Foundation Server/.NET Framework Tooling version

Visual Studio 2010 SP1

Steps to reproduce

- connect to TFS server
- create a workspace
- browse to a TFS folder and map it to a local folder
- get latest version for the freshly mapped folder
- edit the workspace and unmap the folder you just mapped
