User(s) can reproduce this bug
The filter is indicated as supporting H.264 resolutions up to 1920x1088.

In fact, the filter also accepts higher resolutions but fails to decode video. Instead it should be rejecting those media types it does not support so that other third-party decoder could be taken by DirectShow's Intelligent Connect.

Actual results

The filter indicates that it will decode video into uncompressed 720x480 and fails to deliver single frame, yet without any error indication.

Expected results

Either support for higher resolutions, or failure to connect with high resolution media types in first place.

I seem to have possibly reproduced this bug. I am currently unable to playback any videos correctly using the DTV-DVD Video Decoder in Windows Media Center and Windows Media Player. When a higher resolution video is opened, I can hear the sound, but the video will not show. This only affects higher resolution videos (such HD recorded TV, .wtv) but does not affect SD videos.

I can still record the videos in Windows Media Center and play them correctly on third-party video players with no trouble.
