Description

After installing VS 2010 ultimate, in VS 2008 SSIS unable to edit the Script task. Below is the error discription.

Cannot show Visual Studio 2008 Tools for Applications editor.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Could not load file or assembly 'VSTADTEProvider.Interop, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. (Microsoft.SqlServer.VSTAScriptingLib)


My system is having VS 2005, VS 2008, VS 2010 versions installed. We have to use all of them based on our applications (Lot of exisiting apps are availalbel, so we have to have all 3 versions on our boxes. )

Thanks for your feedback.
But now we are no longer accepting bugs for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and earlier products. we only support the latest Visual Studio versions for bug/suggestion.
We are therefore closing this issue. If you can reproduce the issue on VS 2010, please reactivate this issue(Click "Edit this item" button on the site and change the "Status" to "Active").
