I do not use TFS so why does the Start Page have "Connect to TFS Server..."? Also, where is the option to remove that item; it's annoying.

Run VS20102, look at Start Page, get annoyed.

i am on vs2012 pro and have these annoying links as well - I use Teamcity and reqTest and will never go over to TFS. These are unnecessary clutter that I should be able to turn off.

This is great for people who use TFS, I guess. But you need to give those of us who don't use TFS a way to turn it off.

(Also, the explanation below doesn't make any sense. I'm using VS 2012 RC Ultimate, not Express, and the item is still there.)

The TFS item on the Start Page is intended to let you know about the new capabilities for Express in Visual Studio 2012. I hope that it does not inconveniance you too much.
