Description

When using Internet Explorer 9 in IE 9 Standards mode I get this error in VS2012:

0x800a01b6 - Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support property or method 'addEventListener'

Turns out anytime you get this error it is due to an AddOn in IE9 that conflicts with Visual Studio 2010 or 2012. Work around is to disable your AddOns in IE 9 one at a time until the error goes away.
