User(s) can reproduce this bug
I've notice that the Delete Key doesn't work in any of the edit boxes.

ALSO, selecting a range of text and hitting the delete key also doesn't work.

I've also verified that I didn't reassign the Delete key to some macro - which you can't.

Thanks for the feedback on the text boxes in Team Explorer. We tried to reproduce this issue in the fields that you mentioned, but we are only seeing the correct behavior for the delete key. If you happen to find more details for how we can reproduce the issue, please let us know and reactivate this bug.

Thanks,
Matt
