I installed Visual Studio 2008 on a new Windows 8 computer and it failed, stating it could not install SQL Server. Everything else seemed to install correctly. I loaded a project that worked fine on an XP machine and when I start it, it gives me an error 26 when it tries openning the SQL database. I found information on the web to delete a user.config file but that did not solve the problem.
