I had failures and then re-installed Visual Studio 2012 after a development crash. It seems the major problem is in Light Switch. I just installed Update no help.
1. I started a new Light Switch VB project name TestIt.
2. Connected to my database. Selected three tables.
3. Created to a new detail screen.
4. Run a test debug and get the following message.

'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'

I get the same message if I try to run my previous programs.
