In an ASP.NET MVC application, in visual studio 2010, if you open a View and right click in the view, the first menu option is - "Go To Controller".
This is a handy option that help developers to quickly navigate across the project.

This menu option seems to be missing from the context menu in Visual Studio 2012.

I see the context option now, after installing Web Dev Tools 2012.2.
I wonder if it was a part of visual studio 2010 or part of an add-on?

Anyways, installing Web Dev Tools 2012.2 fixed the problem.

Thanks a bunch!

Hi,

I am unable to repro this. I have a "VS 2012 with Update1" and "Microsoft ASP.NET and Web Frameworks 2012.2"

Could you please share the details of your VS 2012 version and also the version of ASP.NET web tools and frameworks version?

Thanks.

Plus one for this! It's an extremely useful feature when joining a big enterprise project.
