I have a solution which includes two websites I added via network share file location (not local/remote iis).

When I try to add the solution to Source control, VS hangs. When I Ctrl+Alt+Del kill it and reopen the solution, loading takes longer than it used to and a message is generated:

TF400324: Team Foundation services are not available from server MYACCOUNT.visualstudio.com\DefaultCollection.
Technical information (for administrator):
Unable to connect to the remote server

Is this possible? Do I need to reference the websites via a different means?

Steps to reproduce

1. Add an existing website to a solution.
2. In the dialog, choose "File System" and navigate to a folder on a network drive.
3. Attempt to add the solution to TFService.

Hi HeatherFloyd, tanks for your response. You can collect a dmp file by right click on devenv.exe in the task manager, then select a create dump file. We hope you can send a 32 bit dmp file, os has a built-in 32-bit task manager under C:\Windows\SysWOW64\taskmgr.exe. We can use this and select "Create Dump File" for 32-bit process.
Or you can create a dmp file by the feedback tool.
1. Start Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Feedback Tool
2. Select "Add to an existing feedback"
3. Select type: Hang

Excuse my ignorance, where can I obtain this "DMP file"?

I will be a happy to send it once I know what you require.
