Hello,

In a solution with 70 projects, I want to rename a build configuration. But when I go in the configuration manager, in the "Active solution configuration" list, I choose <Edit...> in the list. Then I rename a configuration and close dialog boxes. The build configuration has been renamed at solution level, but not in the projects.

So how to rename a build configuration in the projects and keep the link between the solution and all projects in the solution ?

Thank you.

Thank you for the valuable feedback. Though we will not have a chance to address this issue in Visual Studio 2012, we will consider this feedback when planning for future versions of Visual Studio. Investments in this area will be weighed against the impact of other customer reported issues.
