User(s) can reproduce this bug
When trying to create a bitmap strip suitable for a collection of bitmap buttons the drawing tools, pen, line, rectangle etc, do not draw. I have had no problem in earlier VS Studio eg 2008. It may be I am not doing what is expected but if so it is far from intuitive.
Details (expand)

Visual Studio/Team Foundation Server/.NET Framework Tooling Version

Visual Studio 2012

Steps to reproduce

Create a bitmap strip just two buttons wide 32 X 15 and try and create an image on it using the drawing tools. The format 4bits per pixel or 32 bits per pixel makes no difference as nothing is drawn. Care has been taken to set the foreground color eg black

Operating System

Actual results

No image created, the pixels remain white

Expected results

Expect to see what I draw

Thank you for submitting your feedback. Unfortunately, we were unable to repro this.

Can you please provide more details (step by step with screenshots if possible)? Maybe I didn't go through the exact same steps as you did to hit this error.
