Typing in the find file box (which you can open with Ctrl-D) is unusable slow in:

Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2012
Version 11.0.51106.01 Update 1

Basically I have the same issue as described here (don't understand why this was closed as the issue still exists):
http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/761983/in-visual-studio-2012-command-window-is-very-slow-when-trying-to-open-a-file-using-the-command-of

This blocks me totally from working as usual (opening files fast with Ctrl-D then typing ">of file.h" to open file.h).

In VS 2012 there is a huge delay when typing in that box.

Please fix it ASAP thanks!
Details (expand)

Visual Studio/Team Foundation Server/.NET Framework Tooling Version

Visual Studio 2012

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a solution (don't know how big the solution has to be, I have a big one with lots of projects)

2. Press Ctrl-D to move keyboard input into the "Find"-Searchbox (you might need to enable the Find box the first time with "Add or remove buttons".

3. Type ">of SomeFile.cpp" (without the "")

Typing is extremely slow as if some very heavy blocking operation is performed after each char you add.
