I tried to get midi devices using midiInGetNumDevs(). It works fine when running the app directly on the local machine. However, when I try to remotely run the app (connecting from another PC with Remote Desktop Connection) the function always return 0.

Details (expand)

Visual Studio 2012

-Connect to a remote PC with Remote Desktop Connection.
-Run a remote application that calls midiInGetNumDevs().

English

Windows 7

English

midiInGetNumDevs() returns 0.

midiInGetNumDevs() returns 1.

That is the result the function return when running directly from the PC.
