Description

When I attempt to add a Test Project I get the following error:
"There is a missing project subtype.
Subtype: '{3AC096D0-A1C2-E12C-1390-A8335801FDAB}' is unsupported by this installation."

Also, when I attempt to open an existing solution that contains a test project, I am told that the project is incompatible and will not open. I have tried the proposed solution from Microsoft found here: http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/765190/unit-test but reinstalling the software and making the registry change using the file attached by Microsoft does not work.

I have a similar issue with VS 2012 Ultimate.
A -- I have installed VS 2012 with update two on a Windows 7 SP 1 box.
B -- My coworker have "the same" installation
C -- I check out a solution with several projects -- The UnitTest project says that it is "This Project is incompatible with the current edition of Visual Studio"
D -- It is compatible with VS 2012 on my coworkers machine.

E -- If I try to open the UnitTest project on its own, it loads the solution that it is included in.
F -- Also I am unable to create new projects, or files, I get "Failed to create 'ImageSource' from the text '..\Images\Medium.png' Message.

Issue Resolved. I had to uninstall the Microsoft Test Agent and Test Controller that are part of Visual Studio 2012 Update 2 CTP 2. After uninstalling this, I can now open test projects.
