I am sorry I can't provide any more details but VS 2012 crushes too often. (once every 5-6 hours of use)
Mine is installed with telerik extensions, but same extensions were installed on Vs 2010 which was much stable.on another matter - I've submitted a bug regarding WPF RTL menus that appears wrong on win 8 machine. although not a VS bug - I don't know how to submit this bug to the win8 team, as there is no option here....

I can't really say (about the crush issue, about the RTL menus I've opened a separate bug that was closed as a win 8 issue and not VS.
