When trying to add new work item iterations from VS 2012 connected to TFS 2021 collection I receive the dialog saying the username or password is incorrect. When I create the connection to TFS I provided the server credentials. TFS 2012 its under a VM with Win OS 2012 and both server and pc/laptop are in same group of network. Not domain controller or accounts.

I think I choose right file. Issue has gone, now it opens IE and ask for credentials to log in to tfs portal.

I'm using Ultimate 2012 Update 1, so which file should I apply to address the issue?, I see several ones. Could you point to correct one.

This issue sounds similar to an issue that will be fixed in the upcoming VS 2012 Update 2 release. Are you currently using 2012 RTM or 2012 Update 1? If so, consider trying the latest CTP (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=273878). Let us know if this fixes the problem for you.
