Description

If VS2012 has some Data Connections in Server Explorer, the context menu of the solution in Solution Explorer doesn't apear.
When I click right-button on the solution, VS2012 shows me a message box("This server does not have one or more of the database objects required to use database diagramming. Do you wish to create them?") then expands all my tables, stored procedures, etc. instead of showing me the context menu.

Hello,

Thank you for logging this issue. We tried your repro steps but were not able to reproduce the issue on our side and so we need a little more information to investigate further.
Could you please tell us what happens when you right click on an item in Solution Explorer? Does this action expand nodes as you mentioned in the "Actual Results" ? Does this issue occur only when you have added a data connection in the Server Explorer or on any Solution in general?

If you could provide us a screenshot of the issue, it would be very for us to investigate.

Thanks,
Murali

Thanks for your reply. We are unable to reproduce the issue with the steps you provided.

Please export and reset environment settings file by clicking Tools-> Import and Export Settings, after that, please zip the file and send it to us so that we can conduct further.

Please try this (from a Visual Studio command prompt with devenv in the path):
devenv /resetuserdata

Thanks again for your efforts and we look forward to hearing from you.

I attached files that created by VS Feedback Tool. I got an error(something like 'the feedback number is not mine') when submitting the files in Feedback Tool. I uploaded the files via web browser. "ReproSteps.zip" file will be helpful.

Thanks for your feedback. In order to efficiently investigate and reproduce this issue, we are requesting additional information outlined below.

Could you please use the feedback tool to collect steps while you're repro'ing the issue?

Visual Studio now has an extension called Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Feedback Tool, available on the VS gallery(http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/f8a5aac8-0418-4f88-9d34-bdbe2c4cfe72).

The extension allows you to
1. upload files,
2. collect trace and dump files
3. collect steps while you're repro'ing the issue, as well as
4. SQM logs about VS extensions installed
5. System details (in DxDiag output)

Please submit this information to us within 4 business days. We look forward to hearing from you with this information.
