User(s) can reproduce this bug
When our users make new environments in Microsoft Test Manager, they need the ability to be able to customize the OS Profile (Memory, Product Key, etc.) with whatever they desire. The requirement for the admins of our SCVMM instance to create new Templates for each Team Project every time their development teams need a slight modification to an existing Template configuration puts an undue burden on our admins and greatly increases our administrative overhead.

I would like to see this added as an option in TFS or SCVMM where you can specify if you want to grant users the ability to modify the configuration the Template gives them (without modifying the template, obviously).
Details (expand)

Visual Studio/Team Foundation Server/.NET Framework Tooling Version

Team Foundation Server 2012

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a Template in an SCVMM 2012 instance that is configured to work with a Team Project in Visual Studios 2012/TFS 2012, but leave the Product Key blank.

2. Import that Template in to your Team Project under Lab Center in Microsoft Test Manager.

3. Create a new Environment in Microsoft Test Manager.

4. Under Machine Properties, try and edit the Product Key field.

Actual results

A message is displayed saying that these settings can only be modified in SCVMM

Expected results

The user should be able to modify the setting in Microsoft Test Manager.
