I have described the problem here:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15006251/text-relative-adornments-in-vs2010-they-are-sometimes-displayed-at-incorrect-po

and nobody could answer, but one person suggested that this could be a VS bug, as he seen this problem on built-in adornments. Although in my simple VS plugin this happens very often and I think I don't use the vertical scrollbar at all as I navigate through keyboard (arrows, PgDn, Ctrl+F or F12). I have no idea what causes this behavior. Also there is no point in sending you the plugin as it uses our (really big) database.
Details (expand)

Visual Studio/Team Foundation Server/.NET Framework Tooling Version

.NET Framework 4.0

Steps to reproduce

The only way I found is by aggressive vertical scrolling, as I have described in the attached link, but it is hard. Most of the time it "just happens"...

Product Language

English

Operating System

Windows 7 SP1

Operating System Language

Polish

Actual results

The Adornments are placed at incorrect positions sometime and only affecting (reformatting) the whole block of code fixes it (as I have described in the link). ViewportTop is negative and that causes the invalid calculations (I think).

Expected results

This should never happen.

OK, I have installed the VS2012 Ultimate (since our company is in bizSpark).

The problem is exactly the same.

Now, since I have checked this for you that this is NOT only the VS 2010 problem, can I Please ask for help?

I didn't write it's ONLY in VS2010. I said i was USING 2010. There is a big chance the 2012 has it too - I just don't have the 2012 so I couldn't test it. If this is a known bug that it has been fixed in 2012, then please tell me that. If not, check it on 2012 and tell the results. Thank you.
