I have just installed Visual Studio 12 Professional on a recently installed Win7 system. When I try and open a file from a VS10 project, I get the message "Invalid license data. Reinstall is required." and it doesn't open the file.

I removed the VS12 installation using CCleaner and reinstalled it. It also installed a large update at the same time. When I try and open a .aspx file, it still gives the same message.

Hello Wagham.

Please try repairing VS 2012 from Control Panel\Programs. Unfortunately when you run 'cleaner' software on systems with VS installed, most of them will corrupt your VS installation. The only supported way to uninstall VS is to uninstall it from the Control Panel entry.

If repair does not fix the problem, you will need to reinstall your system.

Thanks
