Using Visual Studio 2012 on Windows 8 with 64 bit application concurrent exceptions cause the application to hang waiting on the debugger call-back in _CallSettingFrame. Detaching the debugger causes the application to resume as normal.

Hello btrigg,

Thanks for responding. The fixes we made went into VS 2013 only. The changes were too risky to put into 2012.4. If you try VS 2013 and still run into this issue, please let us know.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello btrigg,

Thanks for reporting this. We've made a number of fixes in this area for a future VS release and we believe we've taken care of this. Please reactivate if it's still occuring in the VS prerelease after the next one.
