Description

When a web site publish is built with "Emit debug information", only debug information from the web site(App_Code, etc.) are in the publish. PDB files or referenced projects are not included. Before Update 2, all pdb files were included.

Hi Kerem, thanks for the notes. The publish dialog defaults to using Release configuration and does not include PDBs by default. If you want to publish PDBs you can switch to using the Debug config on the publish dialog. You can also edit your publish profile (.pubxml file under Properties\PublishProfiles) to include the MSBuild Property <ExcludeGeneratedDebugSymbol>true</ExcludeGeneratedDebugSymbol>.

I'll close this item at this time, but please re-open if the comments above did not help you.
