Description

Despite being advertised as available on all platforms, in Win32 builds:

#pragma intrinsic(ceil)

generates warning C4163 in VS2012, VS2010 and VS2005, though floor does not.

It does not generate a warning in x64 builds...

Hi, thanks for your feedback. This will be fixed in a future release.

It should not be affecting your code generation, however. You do not actually need "#pragma intrinsic(ceil)" to get the right code generation. By that, I mean that this entire program (no #includes) builds and runs as expected:

extern "C" double ceil(double);
double x = 1.2;
int main() {
    return (int)ceil(x);
}

I am closing this MSConnect item. Feel free to re-activate it if you need more info.

Thanks!
