[Error @12:56:17.156] !Verify Error!: TF255466: The configuration process for Team Foundation Server cannot continue. A previous update or installation requires a restart of the operating system. Restart the computer, and then open the administration console for Team Foundation to restart the configuration wizard.

The TFS Product Team has a deadline coming up very soon for our next release. We would like to make sure we investigate and fix this issue before then. Could you please respond to the previous comment soon?

I'd like a little more clarity around why you filed this bug. Is it because of the successful exit code, despite the verifications failing? If so, what version of TFS are you running - TFS 2012 RTM?
Can you confirm what happens if you reboot and try to configure again? Are you able to do so without further issue?
