I am encountering the Internal Compiler Error when compiling the attached code with -O1 option (cf. Steps to reproduce field) using the Visual C++ 2013 RC compiler.

This error breaks the compilation of Qt framework, so it is pretty much blocking me from using VC 2013 RC.

Hi, thanks for the great bug report. This is a compiler bug in VS2013 RC that will be fixed in VS2013 RTM.
