Beta 2 fails at opening C++ projects. Intellisense starts "scanning #includes for additional files" and never finishes. After few minutes total number of files to parse is around 500K. It never finishes and just runs out of memory. This happens with simple Console C++ project.

Unfortunately the workaround doesn't work with Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate x64 RC

I have the same problem, a workaorund, at least for me, is:

comment the #include lines temporarily until the intellisense parser stop searching, (some seconds) after you can uncomment the #include lines

Some details or a workaround for this bug would be appreciated. This developed out of nowhere for me and nothing I do is fixing it for my solution.

Hello Marek,

Thank you for your bug report. This issue should be fixed in the release version of VS 2010.

It's default Win32 Console project.

I think it might be related to my setup:
I have VS2008 installed + Windows SDK from it. I installed VS2010 to D:.

Hi Marek,

We don't see this behavior in our build. Could you attach the actual project you are using?

temporarily comment the #include line (for example you can digit /* at the beggining of the .cpp or .c file), after some seconds the scanning stops and you can uncomment the lines.
