With the release of Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2, its product line-up information has also been released, but Visual F# Express Edition does not seem available. To popularize the new language F#, I'd like you to consider the release of Visual F# Express Edition.

[Suggestion]
According to "Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4 Beta 2" (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/dd582936.aspx), the line-up of Visual Studio 2010 Express Edition includes the following as before: Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual C#, and Visual Web Developer. As Mr. Noah Coad, Microsoft Visual Studio Program Mananger, says in an MSDN Forum (as of October 26, 2009 5:23 PM) that "there will be no F# Express" (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/Vsexpressvb/thread/2bdd4a95-ec65-4e21-98f7-da5c4a7f17f3/#16982fb7-82ff-493e-a089-b112a4909e0f), there seems to be no plan to release Visual F# Express Edition at the moment. However, I believe this kind of new language should be known to many developers by providing a free version. Please consider the release of Visual F# Express Edition. Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately - there won’t be an official F# Express for VS2010. We are of course committed to continuing to make free F# development tools readily available through other release vehicles, and will be looking into the possibility of having an F# Express for the next release of Visual Studio. As mentioned in the workarounds, there is a free F# development tools story today with the Visual Studio Shell + the F# CTP, which we’ll continue to make available at the very least through VS2010 RTM.

と、 "Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell (integrated mode) 再頒布可能パッケージ" を使うやりかたが書かれています。
しかし、 Express Edition のページで VB や C# と並んで F# が提供されることと比べると、 開発者に対する訴求力に格段の差があると思います。
