Description

A UK postal code is made up of two parts an out-code and an in-code. For instance in the postcode for the All England Lawn Tennis club is SW19 5AE. SW19 is the out-code and 5AE is the in-code.

It is common for people to talk about the areas covered by the out-code and I would like to be able to see what they are talking about. At present if I do a search for SW19 on Bing maps what I get is a point in the middle of the area and not the boundary of the area. What I would prefer is for searches like this to show a boundary line showing the outline of the area.

Another feature I would like to see is a map overlay (similar to the London tube map overlay) that shows the boundaries of all the out-code areas something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SW_postcode_area_map.svg
