The Windows Live OneCare safety scanner online service is not compatible with Internet Explorer 8 (beta 2). When I try to start a scanning I get a pop-up window and nothing else, the scanning does not start. The necessary ActiveX controller has installed successfully.

Reproduction Steps
1. After you have installed IE8 (beta 2) go to the safety scanner site: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm
2. Try to start a scanning
3. You will get a pop-up window and the scanning wont start.
Expected Results
Successful scanning with IE8.

After installing IE 8 Beta 2, it was not compatible with OneCare Scanner and the McAfee Program I have installed on my computer. It only worked once I unistalled IE8

the problem is handshaking between manufacturers,Defender was purely created,via microsoft anti-spyware beta, to replace ,along with one care,norten ,mcafee, etc....i have xp sp3 and was totally successful but quite lengthly,hello
