I cannot submit a Windows Live OneCare support log b/c the problem is not on my computer or on all computers. This is a general problem with fonts on some Windows operating systems. (I don't know if it applies to Macs or Linux.)I have built websites using the fonts Pristina, Lucinda Handwriting, and Castellar in my navigation and some of my text headings. The fonts show up fine on only about 1/2 of Windows computers, REGARDLESS OF THE BROWSER OR OPERATING SYSTEM OR MONITOR TYPE. They show up fine on a Windows 2000 computer I use at work in IE 6 and Firefox 5.0. They show up fine on my XP desktop at home using IE 8 and Firefox 5.0. They show up fine on my parents XP desktops using IE 7. I even had to wipe my XP desktop a few months ago due to spyware. There was no change in fonts before or after the wipe, so it's not anything I installed manually. They Do Not show up on two XP computers at work, using IE 8 and Firefox 5.0, or on my Vista laptop at home using IE 7 or Firefox 3.0. One example is www.cowgirlmodel.comThe navigation bar - top & bottom - as well as the side bar on the home page only shows up correctly in 1/2 of Windows computers. I am not sure why this is happening. My best guess is that certain Windows computers do not have a wide range of fonts installed? If this is the case, it's something Microsoft needs to rectify, as the websites look terrible when Windows reverts to Times New Roman b/c it can't interpret the correct font. Thanks, Kim
