IE 8 Google search results - cannot return to search screen after following a link if QUERY SUGGESTIONS is turned on.

PS - WHY WHY WHY is it so difficult to report a bug to Mictrosoft???? I know this isn't the right way to report an IE 8 bug, but it is the best I could come up with.

Reproduction Steps
With Vista Ultimate 64 bit (and XP etc), using IE8, visit http://www.google.co.uk
In the Settings Menu, (top right), choose Search Settings
Find the "Query Suggestions" section
Choose the "Provide query suggestions in the search box" radio button
Click "Save Preferences"
In the Google Search screen, perform a search, any search (lets use "Firefox" as an example!)
Click on one of the result links.
IE 8 goes to the page indicated.
Have a look at the back button menu - the last entry should be the google search screen.
Now click the back button.
IE8 briefly goes back to the search results screen and then immediately jumps back to the link page you have just left. i.e. it is impossible to get back to the search results.
Have a look at the back button menu again. The google search results screen url has now got a couple of extra parameters attached to the url.
If you go back into Google search settings and choose "Do not provide query suggestions in the search box" this behaviour stops.
Of course, using Firefox or any other browser, this problem does not occur, whaterever the Query Suggestions settings.
Please fix this!!
Expected Results
Should just go back to the Google search results screen.
