Cntr-Right (word right) in text, cursor shown as bar (pipe):

when X is some polish letter, e.g. ż (U+017c, latin small letter z with dot above).

Probably you treat this letter as white space, not as character :)

Reproduction could be difficult :)
Write some words starting with U+017c, and try use word right.
