I believe this feedback is common. So here is my input:Workpads in “Quadrant” have no visual connection; it is not possible to determine what workpad was created by what icon from another workpad. This can be especially troublesome when viewing workspaces created by other modelers. The solutions i've thought up for this problem are:• A breadcrumb menu for each workpad, showing from what workpads the current workpad stems,• A breadcrumb that shows how the data shown relates to the data model. (such as parent tables, now shown under ‘references’),• Visual banding between workpads: when creating a new workpad, showing a connection to its originator,• A mini-map, such as used on roadmaps, to get an overview of the position in the workspace,• Possibility to make annotations, so modelers can annotate on why they are seeing things or what to do. (like a whiteboard). Annotations are dynamic, and might also be aggregrated in a sort of todolist. It would also be a solution to simulate the view our modelers are currently using. Basically this is a long list of detail-views for different types. Like this:Begin WindowBegin List for type 1Details view of Entity 1 of type 1Details view of Entity 2 of type 1...Begin List for type 212Details view of Entity 2302 of type 212...etc etc etc
What distribution are you using?
