I imported an .emf file into Expression Design. It opened fine and I could manipulate it. By pixel count it is a relatively big file, but it's a vector format, so i thought that shouldn't be an issue. When I tried to export it as a xaml resource dictionary the program crashed. The first test machine was a Core2Quad with 4GB of RAM and an integrated GPU. I thought maybe the GPU couldn't handle it. I also tried it on an i5 3550 with 16GB of RAM and an AMD 7750 GPU. When i try either using Chrome or FF using the remote browser i keep getting the following error. An error occurred while generating a preview: Unable to read data from the transport connection. Integrate Expression Design into Blend

Move general vector editing for designers into the Blend environment. Something along the lines of "Edit XAML in Designer", giving users a more vector friendly designer. Also return all the export options while in this view. Microsoft has so few designers and with the recent Expression news probably less. At least try and add this functionality.

先日までSuper Previewの試用版をしていまして、間もなく期限を迎えるとのことで「Expression Web4」を購入しました。ライセンス認証も終え、いざSuper Preview(4.0.1166.0)を使用してみると、 IE9でのプレビューができない状態になりました。何度試しても即座に「プレビューの生成中にエラーが発生しました　Internet Explorer バージョン情報が提供されませんでした。　パラメーター名： version」と出ます。 PCにはIE9はインストールしてあり正常に作動しています。何が原因なのでしょうか？ちなみにブラウザを追加する画面でおかしい個所が2つあります。１つは、ローカルブラウザの項目です。 IE９が2つありました。そのうちの片方にマウスを乗せるとなぜか「IE8」と表示されます。。もう１つは、リモートブラウザの項目です。こちらにIE8があります。。試用版の時は問題なく使っていたので、どっちにどのブラウザが並んでいたのか覚えていないのですが、これって正常なのでしょうか？

Blend 4 can't handle freezed StreamGeometries in XAML

Consider the following simple ResourceDictionary. Pay especially attention to the freeze attribute. In connection with a StreamGeometry it causes an exception in Blend 4 that displays the message of the ParserParentTypeDoesNotSupportChildren-Resource in Microsoft.Expression.Markup.dll even though the code is working fine at runtime and in VS XAML editor. Without the freeze attribute the exception is not be thrown by Blend. I do have a lot of StreamGeometries that I would like to freeze in XAML....

Code View of EW fails to get content of correct mime type from clipboard

NetBeans (http://netbeans.org/) places into clipboard several mime types, most notably text/plain and text/html. When I copy some text from NetBeans and paste it into the Code View of EW, EW pastes the content of text/html type. However, the code view should only accept plain text. E.g., $result gets pasted as . Other programs handle the copied content without a problem.
