Deployed a SharePoint 2007 portal with FBA having annonymous enabled for complete site. The portal works fine with this configuration.

Now if you try to integrate the Identity model as provided by WIF for authentication then the anonymous user cannot acces the portal, user is simply denied access to the portal

Cause: Anonymous user is not assigned any identity object, as opposed to any other, lets say FBA, model in which anonymous user is assigned an identity object.

Anonymous user cannot access a SharePoint 2007 portal with FBA, configured using WIF for authentication.

Thanks for your feedback! Could you provide more information about your configuration? How are you configuring WIF for authentication when you already have FBA configured? Are you using one of the WIF extensions?
