When LightSwitch is deployed using forms authentication, users can be locked out due to failed login attempts. This is a standard feature of the ASP.NET membership provider, and a good one, I might add. Although locks will timeout, typically the user will contact the app administrator to resolve the situation, which could require a forced unlock. It would be nice if the default user administration screens in LightSwitch included a fuction to unlock a user account.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for your feedback. We will consider your feature request for future version of LightSwitch. As a work around the administrator can go in and change the user’s password which will unlock the account and make it useable again.
