Opacity fade in or out results in a flash. For example if a one second opacity fade is set to happen instead of 0-100 over a second, it's 0-100,0,100. The flash takes about .1 second, and is very annoying. The only way to fix it is to make a storyboard, which is annoying.

Hi maxime, I think at this point the best thing is to close this issue and I'll ask you to either file a new one with more details or get in touch with me at the below email address with those details. The main things that's confusing me is when you say 'The only way to fix it is to make a storyboard'. Fundamentally, using a Storyboard IS the only way to animate anything but I'm sure you're referring to some subtlety that I'm missing (e.g. I asked about visual states since that can be one area where it's less obvious that you're using a Storyboard).

Hi, thanks for your bug report. Could you give me some repro steps please. Full steps would be best for me to understand and action the bug but example info I need is: are you using visual states, is this a XAML Metro style project, does the issue happen at design time only.

Thanks!
