I just installed Visual Studio 11 Beta on Windows 7 x64 SP1.

I cannot create a new project in Blend for Visual Studio 11, nor can I open a XAML project in design view, as described here: https://connect.microsoft.com/site1287/feedback/details/730932/cannot-open-net4-5-wpf-applications-in-design-view

Blend for Visual Studio 11 Beta

Bug

Create new project (File > New Project).
Expected result: List of project templates (C#/VB.NET/ ...).
Actual Result: Empty list (see screenshot).

I'm closing this one no repro as I wasn't able to get touch with the customer for more details and I can't repro the issue locally.

Hi TheCSharpFan,

How did you install Win8? Was it an upgrade or a clean install? Were you prompted to signin with a Live ID to get a Metro App license?
