Windows Networking Platform for Developers

The Windows Networking Platform for Developers provides developers with a rich networking platform for building robust network applications. Please use this connect site for learning about, staying up-to-date on, and giving us feedback about our Core Networking technologies such as Winsock, Winsock Kernel (WSK), QoS, WinINet, HTTP Server API, WinHTTP, Windows Web Services API and IP Helper API. This site is geared towards sharing information about core networking technologies available to service and application developers. You should use this site for submitting a direct feedback, bug reports and feature suggestions for these technologies.

In order to submit bugs and suggestions we ask that apply for this program. Applying is easy and acceptance is automatic. To apply, go to the application page where you will be automatically approved. From there you have full-access to the site and can use the "Feedback" link for submitting bugs and making suggestions for future releases. You do do not need to register, nor sign-in, if you only want to browse the content of the site.

In addition to this site, please be sure to add our blog, available at http://blogs.msdn.com/wndp/, to your RSS reader for up-to-date information directly from the engineers that deliver the networking platform to developers. The blog site, along with our MSDN forums (listed below), are always fresh with new information from the engineering teams.

Thank you,

WNDP team.
