Description

When attempting to open a .pdf from a mapped drive I get the error "Hmm, we can't reach this page". Opening the .pdf from the local drive or UNC works fine.

Why is this issue closed? This is still very much an issue in a full patched install of Windows 10 Enterprise with the Anniversary Update.

Thank you for the feedback. It has been a while since we have heard from you so at this point we will move forward and close out this issue as ‘no repro’. If you are able to reproduce this issue in MS Edge please activate this issue and provide a link\sample\updated steps how to reproduce this issue and we will continue our investigation. Please note: we're not presently working on feature bugs in Internet Explorer outside of security-related issues.

Works via a unc path, but not via a mapped drive.

Thank you for the feedback.To help continue to isolate this issue could you please collect a network capture with the Ms Edge F12 developer tools or with Fiddler?

Collecting a network trace using the F12 developer tools please do the following
NOTE: Please do not visit any sites that contain personal or sensitive data such as passwords or financial data while collecting the trace.
1)    Launch MS Edge
2)    Press F12 to open the developer tools
3)    Locate the network tab and click the start capturing button or the green play button in Windows 10.
4)    Load the URL and reproduce the issue.
5)    Stop and save the network capture
6)    Please attach the capture to connect.
