When opening site "", IE9 Preview allocates in a very short amount of time up to 1.2GB (yes, 1 200 000KB) of RAM and then releases it as fast. The cycle continues several times.
At this point, IE9 appears very unresponsive.

The issue was resolved in the IE 9 Platform Preview Build released on 5/5/2010. Please verify and file a new bug if the problem persists.

I managed to reproduce this issue. Scrolling down and up the page results in rapid allocation and release of memory.

IE9 is a bit slow on that site, but never did the runaway memory use occur.
