In my early tests of IE9 Platform Preview, and in the release notes, it is stated that DOMContentLoaded is not yet "hooked up".  Please ensure this is covered sooner rather than later as it is a critically important event.

The issue was resolved in the IE 9 Platform Preview Build released on 5/5/2010. Please verify and file a new bug if the problem persists.

I'm facing the same issue on here:

Also, IE9 is supposed to use hardware acceleration in many cases.
How come it scrolls sooo slow?

I also ran into this issue trying to load ExtJs grid panels.
