Using "clearRect" with a clipping path works when the clipping path is a single rect, but clearRect seems to do nothing when the clipping path is anything else.

This JSFiddle illustrates it. It works properly on other browsers (and I believe it worked on IE9,  but am not able to test it):

If "next release" means IE11, this is fairly basic canvas functionality to leave broken for several years. I suppose I'll have to force users to download Chrome Frame on IE10 as well as 8 and below.
