If the feedback system would allow me to, I would change Feedback Type from "bug" to something like "UI suggestion".

Even though IE10 has a title bar (unlike Google Chrome), I am unable to see the full title of the current web page.

Pointing my mouse at the tab to see the title is undesirable. It gets worse...

I experienced a glitch where the pop-up description only shows for the most recently-opened tab!

I need to be able to see the full title of the current page at-a-glance and I cannot do that with IE10. It appears to be by-design, but I need a setting that allows me to override this. I have to use another web browser.

He means the arrogant decision to leave the title bar useless and blank in IE9+

Thank you for your feedback.

We are currently unable to reproduce this issue as described.

FF, Chrome and Safari have to truncate the titles of the page, so it is no different with IE.

We value your feedback. If you have additional information that can help us recreate this issue — such as a specific url, more detailed steps, test results from different machines, or additional conditions — please reactivate the bug or submit a new bug with more details on how to reproduce the issue. You can also read the guidelines at https://connect.microsoft.com/IE/content/content.aspx?ContentID=16254 regarding filing a good bug report.

Best regards,

The primary concern is that there is no title bar. The problem with tooltips was just a further complication I experienced once while I was trying to see the title of the webpage.

This is actually a suggestion to add an option for users to restore the full titlebar. The titlebar space is there, but it's always empty / wasted.

Long titles are truncated on tabs in all major browsers (what else could they possibly do?) and IE is no different. When I tried (IE10, Win 7) I was able to see tooltips/popups showing the full title for all tabs, current or inactive.
