We experience the same problem.
Is there any solution to this?

Our code works perfectly on win8 but on win7 no chance, doesn’t matter which REG key we changed / added.
Thx!
Best regards

I assume that the documentation has been or will be updated correspondingly.

Thank you for your feedback.

After additional review, the spelling feature is only supported on Windows 8 and higher and is not supported on Windows 7. This is because the spelling feature was built into the Windows 8 platform.

We are able to reproduce on both Windows 7, and Windows 2008 R2 (server equivalent of Windows 7). Used Process Monitor to see what registry keys were being queried, tried to enter keys and values that it was looking for, but regardless, the spell check feature will not work in the web browser control. There are some undocumented keys as well that it was querying, it does seem a bit messed up.
