Netflix does not function on IE 11. I made sure that Silverlight was installed by testing it on other Silverlight sources. I also installed another browser to ensure that it wasn't a Netflix issue and it functioned correctly.

My PC runs Windows 7 with explorer 11. I am not able to stream video on websites like Youtube or Netflix any more. What can I do to fix this issue. I've removed and reloaded just about every app, run virus and malware removal and searched for a fix to no avail. I would reload Google Chrome again to see if it fixes the issue but it opens the door to malware invasions. Please help me regain my lost functionality.

Ive been a microsoft fan for 10+ years but now I feel like going to Ubuntu or Android :(

Hi iamtheallknowning,

We found out that Netflix was performing browser detection for IE 11. Netflix failed to properly detect IE 11 due to our new user-agent string update. Netflix has been outreached and the fix seems to be live on their site now. This issue appears to be fixed.

Thanks for supporting us and sending us feedback :)
