I would estimate about 10 % of the times I open Internet Explorer, the drop down menus : File, Edit, View, etc, are greyed out and unusable. I have tried changing my url page, and reloading the page, but neither will affect the menus. I have to exit Internet Explorer, then restart the program to clear the issue.

This is a separate issue, but I don't see any place else to put it. A few years ago when I was working at Apple Computers, a representative of some business organization came to lecture us on our most valuable customers - the ones who make complaints. Many companies go out of business without ever knowing why. The only way to find out what people think is to listen, and the only ones who bother to talk to you are the ones making complaints. Your company is insanely stupid about this. I really only went through this elaborate nightmare of signing up for this bug report so I could tell you this. The bug report is real enough, but there have been other problems that I have started to report in the past and ended up giving up because you make it so difficult. Yes, I understand that you are a big organization with many customers and that it is difficult to screen complaints from the public. Tough cookies, Microsoft, someday you are going to go out of business without ever knowing why.

Thank you for your feedback Murryw.

We are currently unable to reproduce this issue as described.

Please include the URL for the site where you are experiencing dificulty.
Also I would verify that my browser is updated and all the latest patches applied to the OS. Make sure if you have toolbars of add-on installed on the browser that you attempt to test the browser without these installed.

We value your feedback. If you have additional information that can help us recreate this issue — such as a specific more specific details, like a screenshot of the issue. We would be happy to provide guidance to assist in resolving this issue.

Please provide us with Iediag and dxdiag, so that we have a little better idea of the platform you are testing on.

Please generate an IEDiag report.
Here are the steps to create the reports:
A)Locate iediagcmd.exe in
1. C:\Program Files(x86)\Internet Explorer if you are using 64 bit Windows
2. C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer if you are using 32 bit Windows
B) Run iediagcmd.exe, this will open a black command window and this window gets closed by itself after few minutes.
C) You should find a IEDiag.cab file on your desktop.

Please generate DxDiag report.
a) On Start menu , type dxdiag.exe - click to run. (mouse over bottom left corner of the screen, right click, select run, type dxdiag and press OK.
b) Save all infortmation to the Desktop.

Please attach both files to this connect bug.

Best regards,
