It's "under consideration" at status.modern.ie

Any news about this for IE12? I fully agree with "Supporting web standards should be a top priority ... "

I think SSE support should be considered a key feature to add. It is a W3C Candidate Recommendation since December 2012 and it has been implemented by most browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari...).

Supporting web standards should be a top priority ... I think....

Any update on this? Is it being considered for IE 12 even?

Thank you for providing the feedback.

This is a new feature request. Given where we are in the product cycle, we dont have capacity to include new feature requests. We can consider this for our next release.

Best Regards,
The Internet Explorer Beta Team
