Description

Using Windows 8.1 Preview on Surface Pro. IE 11 will not load any internet pages on either the desktop or modern UI versions. The only page that loads is my company's intranet homepage after I sign in using Cisco Anyconnect VPN.

This problem does not affect Google Chrome. This works whether I have VPN connected or not for internet sites.

I am running Windows 8.1 Preview with all the latest updates installed as of today (24 July 2013).
I have Cisco AnyConnect 3.0.0629 installed.

When starting IE without VPN connect it does not load my Corporate homepage as expected. However changing the URL in the address bar or clicking on any shortcuts also fails to load any pages. After connecting to VPN the homepage loads but I cannot leave that page or access any other URLs.

I have attached several screenshots of IE11 showing the only screen I get. Tabs do not appear to work either as the focus stays on the first tab. I have also attached a screen grab of device manager showing one device that does not seem to be loaded properly. I am unsure if this is causing the issue or not though...
